Hello All,

InternetworkExpert WB Owners, I have a question about Lab 5 Tasks 6.8
and 6.7, and I was wondering if this configuration also is valid (Im
not saying that IE solution is wrong, I just what to know if the
No_Export Community also works for this scenario)

Rack1R5(config-router)#do show run | in route-map | comm.
route-map NoExport permit 10
set community no-export

Rack1R5#show run | be bgp
router bgp 500
no synchronization
bgp log-neighbor-changes
network 162.1.5.0 mask 255.255.255.0
network 162.1.55.0 mask 255.255.255.0
neighbor 150.1.4.4 remote-as 100
neighbor 150.1.4.4 ebgp-multihop 3
neighbor 150.1.4.4 update-source Loopback0
neighbor 150.1.4.4 route-map NoExport out
no auto-summary

Rack1R3#
*Mar 1 04:36:19.850: RT: add 162.1.5.0/24 via 162.1.0.5, bgp metric [20/0]
*Mar 1 04:36:19.850: RT: NET-RED 162.1.5.0/24
*Mar 1 04:36:19.850: RT: NET-RED queued, Queue size 1
*Mar 1 04:36:19.854: RT: add 162.1.55.0/24 via 162.1.0.5, bgp metric [20/0]
*Mar 1 04:36:19.854: RT: NET-RED 162.1.55.0/24
*Mar 1 04:36:19.854: RT: NET-RED queued, Queue size 2

Now on R5
neighbor 150.1.4.4 send-community
clear ip bgp * out

and in R3:
Rack1R3#
*Mar 1 04:40:05.496: RT: del 162.1.5.0/24 via 162.1.0.5, bgp metric [20/0]
*Mar 1 04:40:05.496: RT: delete subnet route to 162.1.5.0/24
*Mar 1 04:40:05.500: RT: NET-RED 162.1.5.0/24
*Mar 1 04:40:05.500: RT: NET-RED queued, Queue size 1
*Mar 1 04:40:05.500: RT: del 162.1.55.0/24 via 162.1.0.5, bgp metric [20/0]
*Mar 1 04:40:05.500: RT: delete subnet route to 162.1.55.0/24
*Mar 1 04:40:05.500: RT: NET-RED 162.1.55.0/24
*Mar 1 04:40:05.504: RT: NET-RED queued, Queue size 2

Thanks in advance
Victor
