Stefan,
The answers to these questions can easily be obtained by playing with the
commands in a lab setup whilst reading the DocCd.

Subject: SNMP quesiton....
Hi group,
1. What is the difference between this 2 commands?? What adds the key-word
traps in the second command. Wouldn't the snmp-server get traps if this
key-word is not present?? - I don't think so...
snmp-server host 150.100.1.252 CISCO
snmp-server host 150.100.1.252 traps CISCO
2. snmp enable traps
enables all traps. Do I correctly understand that without this command no
traps will be sent?? And for example snmp-server enable traps vtp.. enables
traps only for vtp. Are there some protocols for which snmp-server traps are
enabled by default??
And.. spectial quesiton to the command snmp-server enable traps snmp....
isn't it enabled by default??
Thanks.
