Koen,

Definitely you should do what doccd says Required, the no ip dhco conflict
logging is the prefect example.

Luis

Subject: required steps on documentation CD or minimal configuration

Hi Group,

A general question regarding the steps you need to take to accomplish a task
and get the full points for your configuration.

What counts?:

1. Minimal steps to accomplish the task you are faced with

or

2. Follow the doc cd and configure all the required steps.

To make the discussion a bit easier see the example below.

To enable DHCP server there is one required step (according to the doc cd)
which you need to take. This step is not required to get DHCP running on
your box.

"Configuring a DHCP Database Agent or Disabling DHCP Conflict Logging"

grtz,

Koen
