Sure,
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/125/traffic_shaping_6151.html
Shows the shape average in graph form. For shape peak, the Be is available at each time interval, not just the first.

Hola Chris, well Thanks for the link, I can see that you responded:
Shape average has a burst setup that allows the Be amount of bits to besent in addition to the Bc amount of bits on the first interval of asecond.Shape peak allows Be amount of bits to be sent along with Bc amount ofbits at every time interval.
Can you please provide us a link with a visual reference :)
Thanks

Hello People:
I have this question about the diff between this 2..
(config-pmap-c)#shape ?
..
average configure token bucket: CIR (bps) [Bc (bits) [Be (bits)]],
send out Bc only per interval
..
peak configure token bucket: CIR (bps) [Bc (bits) [Be (bits)]],
send out Bc+Be per interval
Ok I think I got the Idea of the Token Buket time ago, but to make sure
I'm not missing something an example of this would be if I put money
every day Tc in a box to rent a couples of DVDs for my weekends.
When weekends arrives I can use this money from the box and rent my DVDs.
But this weekend I must study more 3550 Stuff so Im being honest put
the corresponding money in the box until I had the time to use the
Tokens again to pass bps, regulating the flow) - hope this concept is
Ok.. ahh BTW my box is a Big one so Im not putting the extra Tokens in
a Second Bucket.
So in my point of view, shaping is like softening the peaks using
queues, but I do not get the relation between Average and Peak
or Maybe I have an mental English Translation Problem between Average
and Peak.
Thanks for your replies
Victor.
