Hmmm...I have 12.3(16) IP plus on several of my 2500's and have no problem.
I agree too that 12.2T ought to be pretty darn close.

Use the 2500s with a 12.2T IP Plus image. The latest one has the same
features as the 12.3 mainline. On my routers the 12.3 software didn't run
well, malloc problems all the time and finally they hung. No matter what
version. Altough I have the needed 16M/16M. Anybody had the same?
My opinion is that the 2500s are good for a home lab and cover most of the
topics we need to know. For the others use the 2600s.
