Stefan,
On the sub-interface. Since router does not know the bandwidth on the sub-interface unless we configure it. e.g we configure 3 sub-interfaces under the main interface, router does not know and does not assume 1/3 of bandwidth on each. If no bandwidth is configured on sub-interface, router goes with bandwidth configured on the main interface, if there is none configured, router takes default bandwidth on the main interface.

Hello group,
Question:
"Output queue calculations for the MQC are based on the configured bandwidth
value of the interface and not the speed the interface is clocked at. Be
sure to set the appropriate bandwidth value when configuring the MQC on an
interface."
When we configure CBWFQ on the subinterface should we configure the
reference bandwidth on the subinterface itself or on the physical interface.
Where does router look for reference??
