Area 0 range - Virtual Link router leaks more specific

Has anyone noticed that when they configure area 0 range command the more specific addresses are leaked by the virtual link ABR?

I found that I also have to configure area 0 range command on virtual link ABR to stop it.

Just wondering why this is.
