Simon,
i understand the point. All I want to say is that my switch does not
provide me an option to set any action by using *storm-control action* {*
shutdown* | *trap*} as shown on cisco website.
The only option my switch provide is:
sw1(config-if)#storm-control ?
broadcast Broadcast address storm control
multicast Multicast address storm control
unicast Unicast address storm control
Is there any particular reason for this? Don't I have the right IOS running
on the switch?
