"no service password-recovery" but it's not nice to do to someone else's
routers.

Subject: Password Recovery
All,
How would I go about turning off the option to allow password recovery on a
router ?
I've been scratching my head about it and the best I can come up with is
changing the config register so that it ignores the "break" key, so that the
user could not enter rommon mode. However - I can't seem to find the hex
breakdown for the config register on the doc cd. It's one of those things I
don't want to have to memorise!!
Does anyone know where it is located (or indeed have a better idea of how to
do it?!)
Failing that, my last idea is to reboot the box, dive into rommon and change
it using the Fisher-Price questions....
Answers on a postcard...
Many thanks,
LH
