I totally agree.... Learn the core stuff before you start on the adwance
stuff
in version 2 workbook... you will not have a chance if you just start doing
version 2 right away..

maybe one of the IE Guys can weigh in but I have the book, it's a succession

to the first volume so the labs are pretty hard. There is less configuration

tasks but the tasks that are there are pretty advanced..Alot of new
features, IPV6 and some other neat things. Having the new feature
documentation handy while doing these labs was a plus. I've done each lab at

least twice, each time I pick up something else. It's really not a bad
addition, I just wouldnt start your studies using it. I think the first
volume is more valuable for your core technologies but that's just me....
