An L2 connection going someplace else! (to another area)

Or use default information originate to just create a 0/0 route.

Subject: No Deafult in ISIS ?

Hi Group

On number of different occasions I have observed that I do not get a default
route in ISIS Level-1 domain from a L1/L2 routers, but after hours of
troubleshooting I could not list the various reasons for it. I know that for
a default to appear, L1 ISIS database should have ATT bit set to 1. I tried
various configuration options like giving circuit-type command instead of
is-type command and various such mix and matches.

Can anybody pls help to site the prerequisites for a default to appear ?

Thanks
