It is hard to say about specific scenarios without researching the features
found in the ios. You can go over to cisco to the feature navigator and find
out. I do not think there will be too many in the beginning IMHO. As for the
hardware changes I think that will have little to do with the R&S. It will
still be all about the ios which a 2600XM will do the latest. It run the
enterprise advanced services (12.4T) despite what some sites might say about
the 2600 series (you just have to buy the XM model, they don't say that). At
least that is what you will find if you traverse the ios available on CCO. I
could see maybe security and voice labs using ISR hardware modules. This
mioght be a way to accommodate all those items and standardize the racks.

Subject: Lab equipment for 2006
Hello all, I'm not scheduled to attempt the lab until early 2006. I was
wondering if my current lab equipment is viable or should look to change a
few things. With the recent removal of ISDN it saves me from buying a ISDN
simulator. What lab scenarios would I not be able to complete with this
list?
Thanks,
Mike Olivere
