New lab requirements

All,

As a frequent poster on Group Study, I know most of you know I am an
instructor for NetMasterClass, a CLP with Cisco. I just wanted to let you
know from an instructor's point of view that new changes always present a
challenge both to candidates and instructors. We need to know when is the
best time to move to the new material and how do we continue to serve those
that will be taking the lab prior to the changes. Effective October, we will
have both materials and equipment available for the old lab format and the new
lab format. This will continue until December. For candidates that have
taken the class before, new materials will be available in our Tech Library
that former students have access to so either way, candidates are going to
have the information. We plan on having all our products, classes with
equipment pods, DOiT workbook, and CheckiT labs available in both formats in
October.

I still suggest that you need to do what is best for you as to knowing whether
to take the lab before January 1. Yes, some technologies are going to be
omitted, but to delay may require extra expenditures of time and money for the
new equipment requirements.

HTH,
