Cisco's term "IP Mobility" simply refers to the ability of an IP
host to be mobile, which encompasses both Local Area Mobility (your
limited scalability reference) and Mobile IP. If they say that IP
Mobility is removed then I would assume it refers to both LAM and Mobile
IP.
