hi all..
need some helps..
there're 3 router..
namely router A,B and HQ, all site are interconnect via Frame Relay hub and
spoke ..
HQ is running 96K..
A is running 32K
B is running 64K
Site A is running few servers including FTP Servers and with 70 overs users
Site B with around 20 users
all site running same applications including 2 FXO Ports which is connected
to PABX
now the problem..
Site B (which is having less traffic and less users) i run sniffer to
monitor the traffic and notice traffic not high...
when ever people start running FTP which download files from site A...
the voice quality turns very bad...
whereas there isn't any problem in SiteA..
observation:-
i perform continues ping from Site A and SiteB to HQ..
for Site A.. whever the rtt of ping reach 4000ms.. there's where the voice
quality drops..
for Site B, wherver the rt of ping reach 2000ms..the voice quality drops..
my Q now..
why did Site B having a higher bandwidth suffers?
p/s : i did configure Traffic shaping and ip precedence for all sites... and
i notice the Shaping is always active in Site A
As for Site B, Shaping is always not active...
any clue ? or what should i do to resolve this ?
