scenarios!
Perhaps in the type thing you may do or have experienced those observations
would be more in-line, but don't assume that's the same for everyone else!
And ISIS doesn't natively move DECNET anyway. You have to do DecNet
conversion first. But ISIS moves IP information through a different
transport much like what BGP does. That would be more a sign of its
resiliency. *shrug*
On the other hand, it's less areas of distraction for you so that you can
concentrate on the other exciting topics that you may find more useful such
as Mobile IP and IPv6. ;)

ISIS - Who uses that old DECNET crap anyway?
ATM - GigE kicked its butt a long time ago.
ISDN - You can probably send data faster using smoke signals.
