Hi,
VTP can be disabled globally for the complete switch ..using vtp mode
transparent but DTP cant (CMIIW).
For disabling DTP , you got 2 options
1. For Access Links -- Switchport mode access
2. For Trunk Links -- Switchport nonegotiate
you can check the status of DTP gloablly ...
 Rack01SW1(config)#do show dtp
Global DTP information
Sending DTP Hello packets every 30 seconds
Dynamic Trunk timeout is 300 seconds
6 interfaces using DTP
or
on interface basis
 DTP information for FastEthernet0/23:
*TOS/TAS/TNS: TRUNK/ON/TRUNK*
TOT/TAT/TNT: *ISL/ISL/ISL*
Neighbor address 1: 000D2882E217
Neighbor address 2: 000000000000
Hello timer expiration (sec/state): 12/RUNNING
Access timer expiration (sec/state): never/STOPPED
Negotiation timer expiration (sec/state): never/STOPPED
Multidrop timer expiration (sec/state): never/STOPPED
FSM state: S6:TRUNK
# times multi & trunk 0
*Enabled: yes*
In STP: no
 Hope it helps
