Setting the interface mode to static access automatically disables DTP
negotiation. You can see this via the "show interface switchport"
output. For trunk links that you don't want to run DTP on you must
issue the "switchport mode trunk", "switchport trunk encapsulation"
(since it can't be negotiated via DTP), and the "switchport nonegotiate"
commands.
