Subject: RE: is it possible to use private AS# peering with 2 ISPs?
I am quite new to our company. Don't know the reason why they used BGP before. But now we are using ip range assigned by ISP A. It's difficult for us to make a change for the public IP addresses. The ISP B agrees to announce our IP out, but it asks us to have a public AS#. Is it easy to apply a public AS#?

If you have multiple peerings typically you must apply for your
own address space and AS number. Most ISPs will not allow you to
announce another ISPs address space. Also why are you running BGP now
if you only have one exit point? Why not just default out?
