Howard, which shell are you using? I've had poor results with the Slackware
default terminal shell so I always changed it. I can't remember which one I
changed it to but I think it's probably CSH. I love Slackware but SuSE 9.3
is my new favorite distro for out-of-the-box functionality.

Subject: Slackware Telnet and CTL-SHIFT-6? [7:101745]
I'm reverse telnetting from a Slackware telnet client, via a 3002 and
3005 VPN, to a Cisco terminal server, and get through OK. Once I'm in a
router exec line, however, something isn't responding to any number of
ctl-shift-6/X. Other people using Windows soft VPN clients are working OK.
Is there a setting I need in the telnet client, or possibly the 3002?
