Until cisco publishes or announces new material for the lab, no one here
would know the answer to your question.
But, this being August and there being no problem with getting a lab seat, I
don't think you need to decide right away what would be best for you.
Also, how far along are you in your studies? If you're almost ready, it
might be a good idea to plan on taking the lab this year. I suspect that
between now and December, Cisco will make further announcements about the
lab - but, of course, there's no guarantee.
