I think that an extra zero was added to both the Celsius and the
Fahrenheit numbers in the post. It should be 40C (104F)...

The Catalyst 6500 series switches are equipped with internal air

sensors that are triggered at 400C (1040F) generating a minor alarm and

550C (1310F) generating a major alarm.
It looks like your minor and major alarm settings have been changed if

is in fact what the temperatures in the () indicate.
