Have you seen this?
Ping to ipv6 address from spoke to spoke fails. The hub receives the packet, but it seems it does not forward some of them. I left only minimal commands, but the behavior does not change:
R5 is the Hub; R2 and R3, spokes.
Problem occurs if pinging from R2 to R3 or from R3 to R2.
Rack2R2#pi 2001:148:5:3::1
!.!.!
Hub config:
interface Serial0/0
encapsulation frame-relay
ipv6 address 2001:148:5:235::5/64
ipv6 address FE80::5 link-local
ipv6 rip RIPng enable
frame-relay map ipv6 FE80::2 502 broadcast
frame-relay map ipv6 FE80::3 503 broadcast
frame-relay map ip 148.5.235.2 502 broadcast
frame-relay map ip 148.5.235.3 503 broadcast
frame-relay map ipv6 2001:148:5:235::2 502 broadcast
frame-relay map ipv6 2001:148:5:235::3 503 broadcast
To make sure the problem was related to Hub/spoke, I configured this:
BB2---R5----R3
It works fine:
BB2#pi 2001:148:5:3::1
!!!!!
Ping to R2 link-local address does not fail:
Rack2R3#pi FE80::2
Output Interface: serial1/0.235
!!!!!
Any feedback appreciated.
