Hi groups

Can anyone shed some light on Mutual Redistribution for example EIGRP
and OSPF, All the reading materials highlight the risk of route loops ,
I have been mutually redistributing in the Lab without filter (
distribute list ) and I haven't seen any Routing Loops.

Is filtering absolutely necessary while mutually redistributing.

Can anyone provide me a scenario which cause routing loop
