throttle timers?

IOS Command: timers throttle spf spf-start spf-hold spf-max-wait
spf-start: (default disabled)
Delay before first SPF is iterated
spf-hold: (default disabled)
This timer triggers on first SPF. If a topology change occurs before
it expires, the next SPF is delayed until this timer expires, and the
timer is doubled and started again. Exponential growth of this timer
continues until max-wait is achieved so long as topology changes
continue to occur faster than this timer can expire. This timer is
reset once a full max-wait is incurred without a topology change
spf-max-wait: (default disabled)
This timer dictates the maximum time that an SPF can be delayed and
indirectly the amount of time that the network must remain stable
before the spf-hold is reset to its minimum
