Hallo all i am new here, prepping for this exam well trying to.
I have read some of the posting and its great to be able bounce ideas etc.

Well here it goes.

If you have a routing protocol - OSPF for eg You put you eth and loop interfaces into the process. Tese will be advertised as internal routes to the OSPF nei.

Okay what is the purpose of doing a redistribute connected and including the interfaces that are already in the process.

Cool another eg you have OSPF and Eigrp - eth and loop are in the ospf process. Serial in the eigrp process. When you redistribute between them why are the other routing protocols interfaces included in the redistribute connected command.

router ospf 1
net 192.168.1.1 0.0.0.0 area 0
net 10.1.1.0 0.0.0.255 area 0
redis conn subnets

router eigrp 1
net 172.16.1.0 0.0.0.3
no auto
redis conn metric 56 100 1 255 1500

Sorry if this is crazy or if i am not comming across but if anybody can switch the light on.

Thanks

Noel
