You seem really really frustrated with the CCIE exam. Your suggestions are good, but not practical. I thought studying for a CCIE exam almost made me go crazy, studying for a multivendor exam would mean admitting myself into a mental clinic.

We all know that every company releases its own set of certifications, I mean it is kind of a marketing tool to ensure a lot of people get used to their equipment. Just my understanding. I think everyone works hard for this CCIE certificate so lets not degrade its value by discussing its merits and demerits. Nothing is perfect. I do agree there are some flaws with the exams. But don't tell me you have never done anything wrong in your life. Nobody's perfect including me, appreciate that you have been trying hard, you have a M.S degree in software, and your IQ is 135. All very nice. Channelize your energy harder on one thing and achieve it. I hope you do complete your CCIE and achieve the satisfaction that me and my fellow CCIE's have got from doing so.

Regards
Hoogen
