Hi group,
I'm getting following error on the 7507 after inserting a VIP 4-50 and same
thing happened with two VIP 4 - 50s
b
*Jul 5 15:11:26.111: %DBUS-3-SW_NOTRDY: DBUS software not ready for slot 1
after dbus_slot_enable(), elapsed 15040, status 0x0
I checked on the cisco site , it doesn't tells anything more then this:
%DBUS-3-SW_NOTRDY: DBUS software not ready after [chars], elapsed [int],
status [hex]
An interface processor failed to appear online after being reset. A software
or hardware error has occurred.
Recommended Action: Copy the error message exactly as it appears on the
console or in the system log. Issue the show tech-support command to gather
data that may help identify the nature of the error. If you cannot determine
the nature of the error from the error message text or from the show
tech-support command output, contact your Cisco technical support
representative and provide the representative with the gathered information
I went thru the archives of group study, there was one mail about this, but
it didn't explained much.
Well after the router comes online, it seems fine, all the interfaces on the
VIP are running fine, but I'm worried how it will behave in the production
network.
If someone can share their experience about this error it would be nice.
Thanks
Vishal
