but be aware after reboot if device fails to boot up then you will be responsible to bring the device up that means may have to use boot statement or installing ios again in boot mode. I would be very carefull before rebooting a device. But if you have to reboot then check followings
1. Config registary
2. boot statement
3. config are saved in a note pad

Two reasons to reboot:
Clean out cached addresses and reset RIDs. If you KNOW all of this is as it
should be, then don't reboot. But remember that about half the people who
leave the lab think they passed, and only one did!

Subject: To Reboot or Not Reboot - That is the Question Here!
I have seen many here indicate that during your wrap-up phase of the
Lab Exam - you should reboot all of your routers.
What is the logic behind this - what are you looking for when you do so?
I asked the proctor about this while in RTP and his response was -
"Are your configs the way you want them right now? Have you tested
your tasks and do they work?"
I responded "yes".
He then replied "Well - I would not bother to reboot then."
I must admit that I agreed.
What gives? Why specifically do some recommend the reboot?
