Hi
This might help.
Point-to-Multipoint -
---- It is not a default option anywhere.
---- Sends hellos as multicast 224.00.5.
---- No DR/BDR election.
---- It originates host routes.
---- Modify the next-hop processing, which is the difference between this
network type
from other network types and it is the best option for NBMA media.
Point-to-Multipoint Non Broadcast - It is same as Point-to-Multipoint,
except that we are sending the hellos as unicast (static neighbor
statement).
---- It is not a default option anywhere.
---- Sends hellos as unicast
---- No DR/BDR election.
---- It originates host routes.
---- Modify the next-hop processing,
It is used in scenarios, where point to multipoint is necessary but
broadcast support is restricted like in lab it is asked to not used
broadcast keywork in frame-relay map
