Hi,guys,
I cound't correctly understand that's why?Need your help!
I configure routers running OSPF in NBMA ,that is FR in hub-spoke envoriment.
The interfaces of spokes linking hub were configured as the command ip
ospf priority 0. The hub sub-interface was default.I didn't use ip
ospf network or neighbor x.x.x.They can exchange routing information
by checking routing table, and elect the hub as DR by show ip ospf
nei.I checked the interfaces type in non-broadcast by show ip ospf int
.As I knew,I should configure network type or neighbors in NBMA,but I
didn't.They can run normally. Why?I wonder if the ip ospf network or
neibhbors command was must be configured in NBMA.
Second, the same scene as above, I only add the ip ospf network
point-to-multipoint under subinterface of hub.But the hub was acted as
DR by spokes, and the spokes were acted as adjacency by hub. They can
reach full state, but the routing table was not correct, only connected
route,no O or IA.I wonder why they didn't exchange routing information
as they were full.
Thx,best regrads.
