I would agree with that. I've seen NMC's and other vendor's products as
well.
The question I would pose back is: Just what about the CCIE lab is NOT out
in left field? ;)
And also, there are several things in everyone's labs (including IE's) that
would fall into that category. So you can't go making a comment about one
vendor like that.

Well I used the DoIT lab workbook and had great results, what exactly was
out in left field? The thing that drove me crazy was redistribution, DoIT
would have at least three to four redistribution points on each lab and you
had to be really really careful about how you filtered....
