Hi Group,
No matter it is dialer-watch or demand-circuit, I always find that the remote router (ip5) will disconnect the call about 30 sec everytime when ip2 call ip5. Which parameter in ip5 affect this value? I suppose it should be dialer idle-timeout, but it is not. During the lab, should I modify the parameter (which one), otherwise the isdn will also up/down frequently. Thanks.
Router ip5
interface BRI0/0
ip address 172.16.12.5 255.255.255.0
encapsulation ppp
dialer idle-timeout 500
dialer enable-timeout 2
dialer map ip 172.16.12.2 name ip2 class dialer1 broadcast 4082222222
dialer callback-secure
dialer-group 1
isdn switch-type basic-ni
isdn spid1 40811111111 4081111111
no cdp enable
ppp callback accept
ppp authentication chap
end
Router ip2
interface BRI0/0
