Actually my studies were a coping mechanism, especially over the last year.
:P The easiest way to explain it is that my ex wife had constant buffer
overflows that created enormous broadcast storms that would bring the
network hard down every couple weeks. Needless to say that tends to disrupt
production traffic and create collateral damage... After numeroud TAC calls
with highly trained professionals---and isolating most of the storms to her
buffer issues---the only recourse was to remove the faulty equipment. Since
it was on older 2500 series (non-modular) router it had to be completely
removed....
Almost poetic, don't you think? :)
