Wouldn't "show ip bgp summary" in current releases effectively translate
to "show bgp ipv4 unicast summary"? (Pardon the semantics and possible
nitpicking, just wanting to make sure I have it right. :D )
7206OXM-ADSL#show ip bgp ?
A.B.C.D IP prefix <network>/<length>, e.g., 35.0.0.0/8
A.B.C.D Network in the BGP routing table to display
all All address families
cidr-only Display only routes with non-natural netmasks
community Display routes matching the communities
... ...
7206OXM-ADSL#show bgp ?
all All address families
ipv4 Address family
ipv6 Address family
nsap Address family
vpnv4 Address family
7206OXM-ADSL#show bgp ipv4 ?
multicast Address Family modifier
unicast Address Family modifier
7206OXM-ADSL#show bgp ipv4 unicast ?
A.B.C.D IP prefix <network>/<length>, e.g., 35.0.0.0/8
A.B.C.D Network in the BGP routing table to display
cidr-only Display only routes with non-natural netmasks

... ...
Cheers,
Robbie
