Yes - it actually tags all frames when configured to do so, it uses
regular Dot1q vlan tags

So sounds like it is a trunk in Cisco world?

I don't know of a way to tag a frame on a Cisco switch without trunking
but
are you sure the Enterasys switch is actually tagging the frames? If so
and
it's not trunking with Dot1Q, you would still have to make sure the
tagging
format is compatible with anything Cisco does.

I have some equipment plugged into the Enterasys switch and
configuration of
the port on the switch is extremely simple:

Port is a member of vlan 33 tagged

Is it possible to tag egress frame on the access port in Cisco world
without
configuring this port as a trunk?

Thanks,

Andrew
