i'm a bit confused as to why " shape peak" is used here...
my thinking is that if any packets that exceed the the shared bandwidth are
just going to be tail-dropped. is "shape-peak" almos the same thing as
policing outbound? if you policed then you would never exceed the the
interface bandwidth. either way you are going to have to slow the traffic
down. is any one particular way more "graceful" than another?
