RE: Raleigh-Durham vs. San Jose

You are correct that all labs SHOULD be the same. Proctor's quality as
well. While I certainly feel bad that the experience in San Jose was not
what you could have hoped for, this certainly isn't everyone's experience.
There are multiple proctors as well.

If you do end up having a bad experience (no matter which lab you decide to
park your behind at for 8 hours), let Cisco know about it (ccie@cisco.com).
Part of the proctor's job is to answer your questions and clarify things.
They may tell you they can't answer something (if it gives away an answer)
but otherwise, interacting with the lab candidates is part of their job.

If nobody says anything, nobody who can fix the problem is aware there is
one. Don't give up on the San Jose lab because of one proctor's bad day/bad
style. Fix it! I've been to San Jose multiple times, and have had very
different experiences than you did...

The proctor's in RTP are excellent though! As for restaurants, in RTP
(should your budget allow), check out the Capital City Chop House right by
the airport. GREAT steaks!

;)

Best of luck!

Scott

I have already scheduled my lab for San Jose, going by what you guys are
saying, I have already start thinking of changing it to RTP. Agreed the lab
is the same where ever you take it, but the relationship between one and
his/her protor play some vital role in all the mix.
