I've been to both, and I think I won't be violating the NDA by saying
that the two are pretty much similar in most things. The proctors in
both locations were extremely friendly. Howard Pearse(sp?) at RTP is
very talkative at first... I think he does that to mainly help folks
relax. The proctors at SJ (don't know names) are highly laid back...
that California kind of laid back. Honestly, I think the proctors at SJ
answered my questions with more precision than the ones at RTP, but
that is only one person's experience.
In terms of the rest of the set up... I'm not sure what might be
considered violating nda... so, I'll leave it at this... the setups
were identical in terms of what they used... the SJ lab was a bit
colder for me than RTP, but other than that... You could flip a coin
and not really tell much difference in terms of your experience.
So, if all things are equal, go to the place that's the easiest and
cheapest to do travel-wise.
