Shanky, You need (6) core routers, (3) backbone routers, (1) Frame Relay switch, (1) ISDN switch/simulator, (1) ATM switch and (2) 3550 switches.
Here's what I have:
Router 1 and 2: 2610 with 2-WIC-1T
Router 3: 2611 with 1-NM-4A/S and 2 Ethernet
Router 4: 2611 with 1-WIC-1T, 1-WIC 1B-S/T and 2 Ethernet
Router 5: 2611 with 1-WIC-1T, 1-WIC 1B-S/T and 2 Ethernet
Router 6: 2621 with 1-WIC-1T(As I dont have an ATM switch I'm using serial connection to connect to backbone 1) and 1 FastEthernet.
Backbone 1/2/3 I'm using 2500 routers if decide to buy an ATM switch than I might have to upgrade my Backbone 1 to maybe 4500 series so I can add an ATM card.
(1) 4500 Router which is my Frame Relay switch with 8 Serial ports u need only 6 ports
(1) ISDN simulator (you need only 2 ports)
(2) 3550 24 port switch with EMI software
(1) 2511 Access Server
I'm missing ATM switch in my lab.
I'm using Internetwork Experts Lab books so I have tried to Simulate their lab.
See if this helps.

Subject: Equipment list for R&S Lab
Hello everyone,
How many routers does one need in total (Including the BB) for most
lab topologies ?
Will 7 routers ( 4 2600s and 3 1700s and 2 3560 S/Ws) ok ? This
includes the BB and Terminal Server ?
Pls suggest ?
Regards
Shanky
