One of my current site-site vpn tunnel with a sister company is a cisco pix
to sonic wall.
I own the PIX firewall end and they own the sonic wall. We ran into some
problems before getting it to work at the end of the day. The two major
problems we had were with the 'isakmp key' and the 'security-association
life time' values.
'isakmp key ***** address n.n.n.n netmask 255.255.255.255 no-xauth
no-config-mode'
do not forget to include those 'no-xauth no-config-mode' commands.
clear your transalations at both ends after adding the command, things
should work. Also remember t check your crypto map security-asociations life
time values on both ends, I believe pix firewall's values are different from
sonic wall's.
thanks.
