Joe,

It is definitely doable. I'm doing it !!

I have a 2610 running the 1a-oc3-mm card.

You have to upgrade your memory though to 64dram and 16flash.

Regards

Lee.

Subject: AIM and MFT on 2610 (non-XM) Routers

I am getting conflicting information on this question and need some
clarification. I know that the IMA modules were phased out and that the new
way to do ATM on 26xx routers is through use of the ATM Advanced Inregration
Module (AIM) with the T1 Multiflex Trunk cards for the physical
connectivity. I called the Cisco help line and they said that non-XM
routers won't take the AIM/MFT arrangement, but the DocCD lists it as
doable. Can anyone clarify this for me?
