Honestly, my brain can't hold ALL the details of how exactly this works.
You can check the Doc-CD for more details but just make sure you remember
the essential function and that it gets configured on both sides of the
link.

so it means that once this command is configured , the regular updates which
rip sends in the normal case are disabled and it will only send updates
based on certain events like a topology change,etc
