Mobile IP - Home Agent address

Hi guys,

When a mobile node is away from its home network, it needs to register with
it's Home Agent.

It does this either via a FA or directly. In either case, a registration
request has to be sent to the Home Agent (HA).

I've looked at examples of HA configurations in both the Doc-CD and the new
Cisco Press book on Mobile IP.

In none of the examples is a "Home Agent" ip address manually configured.

Since a HA is a router and can have lots of ip addresses, what determines
which of those addresses becomes the HA address which the FA or MN use to
reach the HA and how do the FA and MN find out what address that is?

TIA, Tim
