NTP on 3550

Hi Everyone:

I am following through the documentation for the 3550 version 12.1(20)EA2
directly from the CAT Doc CD.
Chapter 7 discusses using NTP in the broadcast mode for either transmit or
receive,
I have the configuration pointing to my Internet router to receive the time,
which works correctly,
but when I follow the directions to try the broadcast, the ntp command is
not an option under the interfaces
on the CAT 3550.

Here is what Cisco says:
Configuring NTP Broadcast Service
The switch can send or receive NTP broadcast packets on an
interface-by-interface basis if there is an NTP broadcast server, such as a
router, broadcasting time information on the network. The switch can send
NTP broadcast packets to a peer so that the peer can synchronize to it. The
switch can also receive NTP broadcast packets to synchronize its own clock.
This section has procedures for both sending and receiving NTP broadcast
packets.

configure t
interface interface-id
ntp broadcast [version number] [key keyid] [destination-address]

Under any of the interfaces onthe switch, the ntp option does not exist.

Any ideas??

TIA

Bob
