Maurilio was the proctor for my last lab exam in SJ. I asked him
several questions during the exam as it wasn't always clear to me
exactly what some of the questions were looking for. I believe that
some exams are not written by people whose first language is English and
consequently, I was "over thinking" some of the questions because of the
way they were written. He was able to clarify them in a concise way
which ultimately lead me to the correct answer (I believe). He was also
very forthcoming at lunch when I asked him some general questions about
the process used by the proctors to do the grading. I thought he was an
excellent proctor! If he's speaking somewhere about the CCIE program,
I'd listen. He certainly is "the horse's mouth" on the subject. :-)
