keep isdn up from both end using dialer persistent

Dear all,
Appreciate any advise on the dialer persistent command.

Am trying dialer persistent between RouterA and RouterB thru ISDN.
If dialer persistent is only configured at RoutetrA, connection will drop
when idle-timer expired at routerB. RouterA will dial again until the next
idle-timer expired at routerB.
If dialer persistent is configured at both routers, both routers will
initiate call to each other and establish 2 separate B channels. For each
channel at the called router end, the idle-timer will still expired and
bring down the connections.

If a question asked to keep the isdn up, any tricks can be used here to keep
the line indefinitely up from both end ?

thanks
BT
