Cisco = unfair. Just better get used to it...it's a cruel world out there.

Subject: CCIE Lab Re-cert Lower Level Certs

I just received some very disturbing news from Cisco. I recently passed the
CCIE Lab and my CCNP and CCNA are up for recert in Sept of this year. When I
initialy passed the CCIE Written a full CCIE (lab exam pass) was required to
recert lower level certs. Now only a pass of the CCIE written is required to
recert lower level certs. I received news from Cisco that although I passed
the CCIE Lab my lower level certs will expire unless I pass another CCIE
Written test or a CCNP recert. I think this is totally unfair since I passed
the written at a time when a lab pass was required for a recert. Has any one
else who has recently passed lab had a similar experience? I passed the
written in December of 2003.
