Variance affects which routes are added to the routing table, traffic share
affects how the traffic is sent.

and EIGRP?

Subject: EIGRP Varience [bcc][faked-from]
Importance: Low
When we load balance using EIGRP varience do we need the following
commands:
"Traffic-share balanced" or traffic-share minimum <across-interfaces>"
My understanding is the first command assign traffic propotional to the
metric,
whereas the second will use the paths with lower metrics and optionally
across interfaces.
Any different views?
thanks.
