Dear all ,
i have couple of queries regarding MPLS QoS
Support for cRTP .
I didnt find any document on cisco site that
speaks about it .
So, the very first queries is ...
Is it possible to transerves cRTP ( header information
is compressed ) over the MPLS ( service provider
)cloud . ???
Am i right , when i say that the following scenarios
is possible ... let the link connecting the customer
network to my MPLS Service Provider network run
compression RTP accross the link ... and then packet
transverse uncompressed across the MPLS cloud. Thus
the compression is only done across the link
connecting the customer with the my mpls service
provder network.i guess , this should not be any
problem ...
Now , is it possible to have cRTP end to end ... that
is across MPLS cloud as well ... if yes , what things
i need to configure and implement ???? Precisely ,
what i mean is .. when the CE device does the
compression .. the packet is received by PE with the
compressed header ... how can MPLS network take-up
from there with the compressed header information
...?? how will it decide on the label ??
Any work around ???
help me out .....
